Saturday 6 October 2007 - New Zealand Road Relay Champs
Venue: TIMARU - "Round the Gorges Relay"
A great weekend away was had by both teams. Beautiful country side and great company meant for an awesome weekend. This is a relay not to be missed so next time make sure you get there. Top performances by Brent Foster and Andy Small in the A team. We were based at the Crown Hotel in Temuka and all I can say is that Temuka knew that Wesley had been in town.

Saturday 29 September 2007 - Honeypot Mile (final run for the season)
Venue: Epsom Methodist Church Hall.
A head wind put paid to Aniel's hope of breaking Andy Haigh's record time set in 2006 of 4:09 still it was a honest race despite some issues with the timing. A couple more of these and Geoff will really get the hang of it ... sorry did I hear you say GROTY effort Haggis? An amazing 2+min improvement by Nora Kwok - was Dad's encouragement and pace making that much better than Mums last year?

Sunday 16 September 2007 - Pakuranga Children's Relay
Venue: Pakuranga (minimum of 2 girls per team)
Great effort by our two teams fighting the mud and other teams. We needed good results to overtake Pakuranga for the Turnco Shield. Prizegiving made us think we had not done enough but we later found our Yr10 team was incorretly put in the Yr14 results so after a recalculation we had sufficient points to win the Turnco Shield for the Relay and for the season. A great effort by all juniors that ran during the season.

Sunday 22 July 2007 - Auckland/Wesley XCountry Champs (GRAND PRIX XC SERIES - RACE 5)
Venue: Auckland Domain.
A muddy lower field made it a tough run despite the sunshine and encourgaement from the sidelines. Another excellent turnout and although we diod not win any medals this year there were some very good performances. Great effort by William Harris making his first run for the season (due to hockey commitments) to take out a fast fiunishing 4th in the B16.
